The Attribution Ledger

A six-module programme in mobile attribution reporting: MMP exports, SKAN postbacks, cohort tables, and a weekly memo written for finance. Informational pricing sits on the fees page — included in Cohort Studio and Attribution Desk; Signal Brief covers the first two modules only.

Learning outcomes

  • Draw a source map that names every system claiming an install, including organic and unknown.
  • Publish MMP versus store-console drift inside a written tolerance, with an owner for outliers.
  • State SKAN lock windows and conversion-value meaning before any iOS channel claim.
  • Join media cost, VAT, and fees only after install counts are settled.
  • Write a one-page weekly attribution memo a finance partner in Thailand can keep.

Who it is for

In-house UA, agency analysts, and the occasional finance partner who is tired of waiting for a translated dashboard. You should already be able to download an MMP CSV. You do not need SQL fluency; you do need patience for messy files.

Teams buying only web traffic will be misplaced here. The ledger is mobile: stores, SKAN, ATT remnants, and Android reporting clocks.

Syllabus

Six modules

  1. Mod 01

Source systems and why they disagree

MMP, store consoles, network self-attribution, preloads, and the unknown bucket. You leave with a one-page map and a rule for which source may enter the weekly total.

  2. Mod 02

SKAN postbacks, conversion values, and lock windows

What a null postback is allowed to mean. How lock windows destroy Monday numbers. Sparse Thai iOS volume as a sample, not a failure.

  3. Mod 03

    Probabilistic remnants after ATT

What probabilistic modelling still does, what it must not claim, and how to label modelled rows so they never silently mix with observed installs.

  4. Mod 04

    Cohort construction from attribution exports

Retention and contribution using the same join keys as the install ledger. No orphan BI model living in another tool.

  5. Mod 05

Media cost join and ROAS that survives audit

Net media, VAT on Thai invoices, agency fees, and the moment ROAS is finally allowed on a slide — after the join, not before.

  6. Mod 06

    Writing the weekly attribution memo

One page, finance reader, named deltas, no decorative charts. Faculty mark copy the way an editor marks a closing note.

Former MMP solutions lead for Southeast Asia, now faculty at Apiauditgrid. Nalinee marks every ledger memo herself in Klongtoey intakes and supervises remote office hours. She writes the Thailand appendix on VAT, holiday file delays, and SKAN sparsity.

Informational fee

The Attribution Ledger is not sold as a separate checkout item. Signal Brief covers modules 1–2 at THB 9,800. Cohort Studio includes the full six modules plus SKAN studio at THB 28,500. Attribution Desk adds your own files and a policy memo at THB 74,000. See pricing for what is excluded.

No payment is taken on this website.

Reviews from this syllabus

“Module 05 forced the VAT line onto the cost sheet. Our old ROAS had been quietly pre-tax.”

“I wanted more gaming sample files in module 04. The method still transferred; the event names did not.”

FAQ

Do you configure our production MMP?

No. This programme does not include live MMP admin access. You work from sample exports and your own files. We cannot log in, create partners, or change attribution windows on your account. That limitation is deliberate: if the table only exists inside a vendor UI, you do not yet own it.

What software do I need?

A spreadsheet tool you already use and the ability to download CSV from your MMP and store consoles. SQL is optional. We do not require a particular BI product.

Is the course useful if SKAN volume in Thailand is tiny?

Yes. Sparse postbacks are a reporting situation we drill, not a reason to skip iOS. You will practice writing claims that match sample size instead of inflating a channel split.

Can finance partners attend without a UA background?

They can, if they are willing to open CSV files. Attribution Desk is the better seat for mixed UA-and-finance groups.

How do I enrol?

Send a note via contact. There is no cart. We confirm the intake and issue an invoice from Thailand.
